Colorado pulls a Northwestern

As if going 0-11 last year and having one of the Gibbs brother as your
head coach wasn't bad enough...

ESPN has learned that the federal probe of *** at Northwestern
University will now extend to the University of Colorado at Boulder.

Brian Ballarini, the former Northwestern football player who was
indicted for allegedly running a *** ring on the school's
Evanston, Ill., campus in 1994 and 1995, was allegedly found to have
participated in a *** operation on the Colorado campus, where he
allegedly took bets on college and pro games from football players and
   other students.

Ballarini, who transferred to Colorado in 1995, is due in federal
court on Friday morning in Chicago for a status hearing on the case.

Colorado officials could not be reached for comment.

In April, Ballarini pleaded innnocent to charges of running a
   bookmaking operation on Northwestern's campus.

Well, if it's as accurate as the last great revelation coming out
of ESPN about CU, I ain't gonna lose much sleep over it.  Leastaways until
I check the Enquirer for the solid stuff.

                                                Respectfully yours,

And yet any little nugget regarding Nebraska is taken as fact by you, even
if does come from such an unreliable source as ESPN.

How selective of you.  Classic Colorado denial.

(Of course, in your case, you're denying that you are still Nebraska's
biatch.)

What, he bet that UC-Boulder would win six games last year?
