Dump your reserve Defense, Kicker and Tight End and pick up Onterrio
Smith, TJ and Buckhalter. One of them should prove to be a pretty big
player this year. You're going to need someone, Anthony Thomas probably
won't help you much.

hello?  has everyone forgotten about garrison hearst?  i mean, he's only
the goddamned starting rb in sfo...

all of those other jokers are trying to WIN starting jobs (staley/
buckhalter being a different story).  with hearst it's his job to
give up.  every year the pundits claim barlow is gonna be the new hotness,
and so far they've been wrong.

dump thomas and pick up hearst.

I got this far...... you should grab your Uncle.   He will appreciate your
"touchy-feely" nature.

I gotta agree with this one.  dump all of your backup D, K, TE, and
marginal WRs and scoop up every available *starting* RB and then those
on the verge of earning a starting job (buckhalter, smith, maybe
toefield, duckett).

The knock on Hearst/Barlow in SF and Dunn/Duckett in Atl is that the
head coaches have said they'll split carries.  Take that for what it's
worth, but I'd rather have a full-time starter.  I picked up Mack in
Houston as #4 for that very reason.

A little secret about Yahoo leagues is that it will allow you to not
carry starters at all positions (at least until game time).   What
that means is that pre-season, you can dump all "marginal" positions
(D, K, TE) and stockpile running backs until you see how things pan
out in training camp/preseason.  Then dump the least favorable RBs
(non-starters, split carriers, poor running offenses) to pick up *one*
D, K, TE off of waivers.

If you have patience during the season, then O. Smith will become your 3rd
RB...if not your 2nd behind Barber. The Staley/Buckhalter soap opera is more
of a 50/50 deal.
