I wonder what Rush's ratings are now that the country is run by
republicans
and everything on the domestic front is going so smoothly.  There's
nothing
bad to talk about!

This kind of reminds me of when you put just a little bitty piece of
worm on your big shiny hook.  The bait's not very big, and the hook is
clearly visible, but that doesn't mean you won't land a big bass.
Most of the time, though, all you get is little perch and sunnys.

You obviously were not listening today when he spent a lot of time
criticizing George Bush and his current cave-in to the steel industry
and the unions.

Yeah, besides the war, the recession, and the
budget going back into deficit, everything's great!

Let's see. Democrats were criticizing the war effort, but are now
reling by supporting the war. They've decided to join the rest of the
country. Recession? According to latest reports the economy is making
a comeback despite the inaction of the DNC. They even had to pass the
simulus bill so they could take some credit for the economy's
comeback. It's back to the drawingboard for the DNC.
Daschle is finding himself to be very lonely at the bottom.

O.k so if we really didn't need the stimulus why was Bush fighting so
hard to get it??? maybe the dems had it right... the economy would
pull itself out without any help from the feds....

If that had ever been the Demmi-comms position, you might wanna
give'em credit for that.

Hey to Daschle's "An economic stimulus package isn't going to start working
for quite a while anyway, so we might as well get it right."

Which is not exactly the same thing, but certainly closer than Republicans
trying to ram rod through corporate welfare for their campaign contributors.

I missed out on what the RepubNazis position was.

well that and most of the talking heads on the left were saying that
any help that congress can give is usually too little too late....

I think Rush probably even said that to defend GHWB in '92....
