Corn'll get you subsidies, rain or not.  Soybeans and mint too.  Brazil
just won a lawsuit to levy $4 in tariffs on our crop exports, so look
for the subsidies to go down.

Hanks drives a GM product. I made an error, it's a 18 foot trailer, not ten.

I get the equipment without paying sales tax. I can get a farm tag for my
dually and buy cheap diesel, but I hear it has lots of water in it, so I'll
prolly just still with the #1 diesel.  The tractor is diesel too.

One day this feller from Washington came by,
And he spied it and turned white as a sheet.
Then they dug and they burned,
And they burned and they dug,
And they killed all our cute little weeds.
Then they drove away,
We just smiled and waved ..........
Sittin' there on that sack of seeds!

Speaking of fishing, which I am now going to do...

My 9 year old grandson and his buddy from Plano were fishing off
Islamorada last week - one caught a 30 lb. wahoo and the other a 20
lb. mahi mahi and brought them to the boat unassisted. The 12 year old
gave a shark quite a tussle I'm told.

Both did very well skeet shooting here the week before.

I got beat on the golf course and skeet shooting by my sons. And I had
to pay for both. Isn't there some rule about having to respect dad?

I'm sorry to hear that. I thoroughly enjoy my sons and grandsons - and
they tolerate me (but they act like they like it).

You cant put tax free diesel in any vehicle driven on the road.  You
can for your tractor, but if they catch you with ruby red in your
pickup on the highway, they can fine you $10,000.  Not worth the
risk.

Do you burn #1 in the summer?  Or are you refering to road diesel,
which is straight #2 this time of year.

I use both, depends on where I fill up.
I've used Willie Diesel, it burns too.
