I'm very short sighted and if I don't where my contact lenes when swimming I
can't see the clock for timings, so I just use normal anti-fog lens goggles
with sponge surrounds fitted snugly. as yet I've only had one incident where
my lens came out int the goggle, mainl due to a very bad starting dive!

I have a similar problem.  Without contacts, I can't tell if I'm three
yards or three inches from the wall.  I use Speedo Swedish Master goggles,
and the work very well.  I'm going to get a pair with an elastic nosepiece,
but until then, swedes work fine with contacts.
