Looking for good lap pool in SouthWest Toronto/S. Etobicoke (indoor/outdoor)

I would appreciate hearing from locals in S.West Toronto/S. Etobicoke area.

I am new to the area and would like to get recommendations of good pools  in
my neighborhood for doing laps (pref. olympic size - indoor/outdoor).

What about in the lake? Is there a nice/safe area for training?

Thanks for any info.

What about the Olympanian (-sp?)?  I haven't been there in a number of
years but it was open to the public for lap swim and it was one of the
best pools in Canada.  One of my favorites.

Olympium - on Rathburn, just west of Renforth.

The Etobicoke Olympium is a nice pool, but is also busy as it is
public. If you don't mind spending the money, the best pool in that
area is at the Fitness Institute, Missisauga Branch near the 427 and
the QEW.  You almost always get a lane to yourself and the pool
temperature is good for laps.
