What Music Listen to During Meet?

Does anyone have any recommendations for music that they enjoy listening
too before they race?

I'm thinking of upbeat music to get the ol' motor going.

I favor 'Take a Walk on the Wild Side.'  It has the line, "shaved his
legs, then he was a she."  Sort of apropos for a taper meet.

Try the Police, Beach Boys, or Van Halen.

I dunno, I tend to listen to things that will pump me up... such
as Rage, maybe some Megadeth, or there are vaious other songs which
have a quick beat and really get me psyched.  (just listening to
20 or 30 minutes of Rage is enough to get anyone pissed off/psyched
up :> )....

"Running down a dream"-Tom Petty
"I won't back down"-Tom Petty
"Three Strange days"-(I'm drawing a blank on the artist, but it's a great
song for those eternally long weekend meets)
"Birdhouse in Your Soul", Istanbul not Constanople"-They Might be Giants,
"The Lumberjack Song"-Monty Python (If you're in a high pressure meet,
these songs are kind of nice because they have a nice tempo, but are also
silly enough to relax you a little)
"Purple Haze"-Jimi Hendrix
"Walk of Life"Dire Straights
"Rock and Roll, part 2"-Gary Glitter, "Princes of the Universe" and many
others by Queen (nice "stadium" rock)
"Carmina Brugara", "Hallelujah" from the Messiah by Handel (maybe a little
Vivaldi Four Seasons too.  No one can quite jam like a full orchestra)
"Radio Free Europe" "Radio Song" "It's the End of the World as We Know
it"-R.E.M.  (A great beat, and it's fun to try to sing along with Michael
Stipe)
"Hungry Like a Wolf"-Duran, Duran
"Welcome to the Jungle"-Guns-n-Roses (obviously for home meets)

I would see this question when I'm away from my CD collection. <grumble>

The "O Fortuna" section from Carmina Brugara was what I was specifically
thinking of.

I'm a high school swimmer and my whole team listens to the same stuff
before meets.  Nothing beats Rage Against the Machine to get you pumped
up.
