Coffee after swimming

Everytime I have coffee after swimming, it tastes terrible.  Has anyone else
had a similar experience?  Anyone know why?

Thanks

No, a hot cup of coffee tastes great after swimming.  In fact, many things
taste better, even plain mineral water.  And fresh air.  The harder I swim,
the more I'm rewarded.

I can't eat at all after a hard work out.  It's like all systems just shut
down.  But I do force myself to drink water.

I find that the chlorine makes my mouth funny for a few hours. That probably
accounts for your observation.

I have coffee on summer mornings after swimming and have not noticed a taste
difference.

Not after swimming, but maybe six weeks ago the coffee where I work started
tasting like toxic waste....so I switched to green tea.

Figured the vendor had either botten a bad batch or cheapened their standard
stuff - or the water was bad.

Now, every time I go to the coffee area, I sniff the pot.   Usually it's really
bad, but occasionally it's OK and I have a cup.

I never associated it with swimming - but now I'll try to keep track of when and
where....got a couple days in training coming up and I won't be able to
swim...so we'll see if the coffee tastes any better on Thursday...
