Americans - watch LIVE Olympic coverage!

You need to get Canada's ExpressVu in the US and watch CBC.  With the 18"
ExpressVu dish and receiver (about $250), you can see 18 hours of LIVE
coverage a day!

Don't let NBC make you watch all those commercials...

You can find ExpressVu dealers in any of the search engines.

I doubt that CBC will be without endless commercials - with the govt
cutback, CBC will be just as bad and any americn networks.  Let's hope that
they won't spend 10 of those 18 hrs showing women softball like they did in
'96 :)

Yeah, but I bet CBS will show actual events rather than just highlights
and summaries of events.  And maybe they'll keep showing races even when
there aren't any Canadians commpeting.

I remember during the last summer games, NBC follwed a long bicycle race
for hours until the last US contestant was eliminated.  They never showd
the finish live because no Americans were there.

I wish I still lived in Buffalo so I could pick up the CBC on cable.

I think there are a few commercials, but far less than what NBC is offering.
Also, far less "up close and personals" and more real racing!

"Let's hope that they won't spend 10 of those 18 hrs showing

TSN, a Canadian cable sports network, has joined forces with CBC
to complement CBC's coverage. One of TSN's roles will be to
provide wire to wire coverage of team sports - basketball,
soccer, etc. and, yes, women's softball.

Readers of this message board may not believe it but I recall
that a national newspaper chastised CBC in Atlanta for breaking
away from a crucial inning of a preliminary Canada-USA softball
match to show the men's 100m freestlyle final.

Anyway, with TSN complementing the CBC coverage their should be
less jumping around between sports and, as a results, fans of
all sports should be happier.

Is this (CBC) our only alternative to NBC?

I'm pretty pissed off about the Trials coverage yesterday.

In SFrancisco, they chopped off a half hour so they wouldn't have to cut
into a Suzanne Summers informercial about her ab-toning machine.

AAAGGGH!
