1996 Olympics accommodations available in Atlanta.

My husband and I are offering the best Olympics accommodations value in
Atlanta during the games. For bed and breakfast accommodations in rooms
with 2 twin beds, we are asking $37.50 per night, per person (with double
occupancy) for a minimum 3-week stay or $45.00 per night, per person (with
double occupancy) for a minimum 2-week stay, $53.50 per night, per person
(with double occupancy) for a one-week stay, and daily rate $75.00 per
night, per person (with double occupancy).

Also, available for rental, we have a large master suite with queen size
bed, walk in closet and huge private bathroom with two sinks, commode, and
separate shower and garden tub.  For the master suite, we are asking
$60.00 per night, per person (with double occupancy) for a minimum 3-week
stay, $70 per night, per person (with double occupancy) for a minimum
2-week stay, $80 per night, per person (with double occupancy) for a
minimum 3-week stay, and daily rate of $90 per night, per person (with
double occupancy).

I'm sure that you'll consider these rates to be very reasonable when
compared with the $200-300 and upwards, per room, being obtained
elsewhere.  A photograph of our home can be viewed at our home page:

Since URLs are case-sensitive, be sure to capitalize the words, Atlanta,
Housing, and Olympics.

We are located northeast of the downtown area, relatively close to many of
the Olympic venues.  For instance we are only minutes from Lake Lanier,
where all the aquatic events (rowing, canoeing, etc) are taking place and
only 4 miles from I-85, the main access route to downtown.  The Doraville
MARTA station -- the public transit system to all the events at the
Olympic stadium and other key venue sites downtown -- is approximately 25
minutes away.  From Doraville, trains leave every 3 minutes and the fare
is $1.50 per ride.  We are also less than 45 minutes from Soccer,
volleyball and rhythmic gymnastics events at the University of Georgia
campus in Athens, east of here.

When you arrive, we will pick you up at Atlanta's Hartsfield International
Airport at no cost to you and we are willing to drive you to and from Lake
Lanier or nearby public transit facilities each day for a small fee.  You
will, undoubtedly, find this service invaluable because city officials
report that, in July and August, the traffic in this city in and around
venue sites will be extremely congested and parking will be expensive and
hard to find.

We will provide a daily continental breakfast for our guests and guests
may use any of the kitchen appliances to prepare snacks or light meals.
Our guests will also have complete access to a living room with piano and
late-model entertainment center with radio, cassette tape and CD players,
a large family room with Television & VCR, and two dining areas, with
seating for 10.

There are also two recreation rooms:  A game room with ping-pong table and
an exercise room equipped with a Nordic Trak ski machine, a motorized
treadmill, and a Health Rider that guests may use.

We will dust and vacuum bedrooms and keep our guests supplied with fresh
towels and bed linens.  Our home is fully air conditioned on all three
levels -- an important comfort feature during Atlanta's heat and humidity
in July and August.  You will find that temperatures here in northern
metro-Atlanta tend to consistently be 4-5 degrees cooler than those
downtown because of higher altitudes.
