What do you think about: feet position at the start

If USS where to change its rule concerning foot position on the blocks
both before and after "Take your mark" what should the requirement be?

Should the feet be allowed anywhere before "Take your mark"?
Should the current feet together away from the front of the block continue.
Something else?

How about just before the start?

Why?

Thanks,

I'd like to see either the "feet allowed anywhere" or "feet together at
front of block" rather than the current "feet together away from front
of block".

Using a track start you have to move both your feet, but you have to move
them one at a time.  This is slow enough that I've had starters with itchy
trigger fingers send the heat off before I had a chance to really get set.

With "feet anywhere" you could at least be close to a track start, and "feet
at front" you at only have to move one foot.  Of the two, "feet at front"
would probably be easier on the starter to determine who is ready.
