wanna buy a lap counter, but where

Post by Michael & B.Ann » Thu, 26 Sep 1996 04:00:00

I am swimming laps as part of cross training and am up to 1/2 mile
which is 26 laps on my local town pool.  but I lose track and this
is horrible and frustrating ...

I have looked every where (using sophisticated search engines) to
try to find some sort of wrist thing that I could use to record
lap by lap.

by the wat, I live in Glenwood Springs Colo which has largest hot
springs pool in world with high sulfer and mineral content to
water .. healthy perhaps but plays hell with metal so counter
must be plastic

does anyone know if such a thing exists

thanking you in advance

I was once in a Speedo store and they had a digital counter/timer that
fit on one's thumb. It seemed like it would be easy to press the
button to increment the counter.

I think it was $30-$40.

Speedo sells a lap counter you wear on your finger.  Of
course, you have to remember to push the button when you turn.

Many catalogs that sell Speedo products seem to carry this lap
counter.  Check out the Yellow Pages of Swimming.

Good Luck.
