Good on him-we need a bit of this sort of talk to liven things up a bit. We
really know that the americans are in town now! (and we love them for it)

As an Australian I was, however, a bit embarrassed by Keiren Perkins'
over-reaction to these comments (the AOC have come down on him now). Our
team is way too sensitive and take it all too seriously.

Good luck to Mr Hall and the rest of the US team!

He really does seem to have a soft spot for Australia, though.
Heck, what swimmer wouldn't? What a great place to hold
a swim meet--especially the biggest meet of all--because you
get knowledgeable, enthusiastic crowds. That's got to be
a fun place to swim, even if you're "the opposition" <G>

Heck, if you *really* want to get Hall going, just mention the
name "Popov". <VBG>
