Hi -- I'm an archaeologist, and will be spending several months on end
each year for the rest of my life in Mexico, and possibly other Latin
American countries, too.  In most cases, I'll be far from any swimming
pools or gyms.  Excavation is hard, hot work, but not very aerobic and
doesn't really focus muscle work in such a way as to be effective
"training."  I tend to feel out of shape after a season, and have a hard
time getting back into the pool when I get home.  Can anybody offer
advice or point me to resources on staying in shape (particularly upper
body) while on the road (or in my case, in the field)?  (BTW:  It's not
practical to carry dumbbells, or anything really heavy -- enough to
carry already.)

Thanks,
Ken
