Help All my AC experts ASAP

My buddys got a 97 zr 440 it wont go over 4000 rpm changed the cdi the coil
and plugs still the same thing. We tried firing in dragon fire to see if it
would pick up and it just booged it down. Any ideas out there is is flipping
out over this...

Had the same problem on a ZRT.  Primary clutch was binding/sticky and
the ***cables needed to be readjusted.  Running too rich.  Drive
full throttle for a minute or 2 on a lake and then pull the plugs to
see if it is running very rich.  Course this assumes a carb model.  If
it's EFI, well.... Have fun..   As far as clutching goes, take
clutches apart and confirm nothing is bent, bound up, sticky, etc.

Also put sled on a stand so track is off ground.  Engine might do full
revs when it's not under a load.  This will give you more info to work
with.

yeah when you open up the ***it doesnt do a thing so maybe thats it. I
llcall him and let him know..
