Do the Keihin "D" slide carbs that come with the Polaris '00 700 Deluxe
come apart as easily as a round slide Mikuni carb? In other words is it as
easy as twisting off the cap and pulling the slide, needle jet, etc. up and
out of the carb? Or are these type more trouble?
Looking at the service manual shows the process to be pretty simple. But
while pulling upward on the cap there seemed to be more resistance then I
felt there should be. I have only worked with the Mikuni round slide
versions so this may be normal. Wanted to ask someone who has actually
changed their needle jets out.
