Secondary Clutch on 97 Polaris 500 and Ultra SP

I really dont think its a problem because both sleds have this but. i
guess you would call it the face or bell area of the secondary clutch has
what looks to be cracks or stress cracks on it, i dont know if its in
the paint or if the metal is cracked. Both are new brand new 97's with
zero miles.  Are all the secondary clutch's cracked like this. if it is
supposed to be like this and if they are what are those cracks from.

These "cracks" are most likely lines from the die-casting process.  All
the Polaris secondaries have these marks.  Put the clutch under a
microscope and you will see that the cracks are really raised areas.
Nothing to worry about, it's just cosmetic.
