        Well hello sled heads !!!!   As some of you know, my Zirt swallowed
it's gum on my last ride last year after I did some radical porting of
my own and shaved the heads .080" etc.  (But it was fast that day)
Anyway, I want to turn my Zirt 6 into a Zirt 7 which will repair the
port damage caused by me and the Wiseco piston.  (I was going to do
the 700cc thing this season anyway.)  I have been waiting on Dale
Cutler (Cutler's Performance Center) to do his R&D thing with his
700cc project but he has been hit with some problems and his kit will
not be ready this year.  I called PSI today in response to an ad in a
sled magazine and they want $1695 for their aluminum-sleeved 700cc kit
and port job.   That's just a little too much $$$$$ for me.  
        PLEASE, can anyone tell me of someone else in the country that is
marketing a 700cc kit for the Zirt 6  that might be a little less
money?

Try NORTON PERFORMANCE, in Essex Junction Vermont. They are strictly Cat folks
who have a real good rep for making them go!
