Please Help! 87 Artic Cat Jag 340

I just bought the 340 and I have a problem when I go for a ride and the shut
the machine off. When I try to pull start it again, it won't start and
appears to be flooded. I have to take out the plugs and turn over/pull the
cord several times. The plugs don't appear to be wet, but when I put them
back in and pull the cord, it starts on the first pull. What could the
problem be? The plugs are new. Your assistance would be a great help! Thanks
Konrad

Since most sleds are jetted a little on the rich side in the interest of
saving motors, when you try to restart a warm engine, they often are hard to
start.  Most every sled I've ever owned easily restarts by just cracking the
throttle open as you pull it.  This leans it out just enough to make it very
easy to start.  I have a 98 Panther 340 and this works well on it.
