Heard any good ETT rumers lately?

So has anybody heard what Arctic Cat is doing with ETT?
This is my year to buy a new (1997) sled, and I'm getting a bit
jealous of these Polaris riders with their mondo suspensions
especially since I sot the snot spanked out of me on my last
trip up north on my EXT. I would like to stay with A.C. since I like
the way they handle. But my body is not as young as it used to be
and I wouldn't mind a little more comfort.

I've seen the ZR440 with ETT in Arctic Cat's calendar, and would
like to know if it will be available on their 97 EXTs.

Anybody heard anything??

Thanks.

Dave.

        The "late release" 1996 ZR440 and ZR580 XC (cross-country)
both have the ETT and are available right now. The ZR580 XC is EFI, at
least the one I saw at my local dealer was.  But if you are really looking at
1997 sleds, I'm sure there will be many more models with this option.
The new ZR580 XC is one of those: " You either love it or hate it! " sleds.
I happen to love it, but just as Ron Kellet said about me;
                "I bleed Arctco green".

Dave:

I'll be turning 38 soon, so i'm not the spring chicken i used to
be either.  As far as comfort, when the going gets rough, but you
still wanna ride hard, the Polaris XTRA can't keep up with the
Cat Fastrack.

Even though it's only 8.5 inches of true vertical travel (XTRA 10
is 8.2), my spring setting is in the softest position, and I
still can't bottom it out.  My dealer is installing a slightly
softer spring so I will have more adjustment.  I'm 6'3" and 220#.
Then it will ride nice even through the slow moguls.

Don't give up on Cat if they don't jump on the long travel
bandwagon just yet, the Fastrack was the original "long-travel",
and the others are finally catching up.

Happy Sledding :),

How does your ZRT keep up with the other 600's?
