Can anyone help me out setting up a 97 600 with ufo''s. Seems like I
was fouling plugs with low r.p.m. and plugs seemed like they were
burning eratic.

A buddy of mine had ufo's on his 97 ext 600 triple. He got tired of playing
with them ( couldn't get them to work) He now has this setup which is basically
what I am running. D&D sleeper kit with thicker base gaskets and cut heads,
v-force reeds, D&D pipes and clutch kit. 192 studs. This combination runs very
well for him, this is why I did it to my 99zrt this year, and no I haven't
ridden it yet. Kevin

You might want to try dropping the pilot jets a few sizes, I had a 97 xc 600
that i put ufo's on and it took me a few trial and error sessions to get it
right.  When it was finally dialed in, it would beat my friends stock xc by
4-5 sled lengths!

You need to go way down on the pilot jet, then probably up a couple
sizes on the main jet. Last year I enlarged the centre hole on the UFO
to help with the idle. On my sled, 94 ZR580, I went from #35 pilot jets
to #10 and up two sizes on the mains. Needle position stayed the same.
