Yes, my bud got a recall yesterday and it was sent via registered mail. It
includes many sleds including my 97 MXZ 583 (on the S-2000 chasis). Appraently
they will be replacing the sheves on the primary clutch as some have been
cracking.
I expect that my notice will arrive within a day or two also.

I recieved my recall Thurs.  My dealer says parts in about three weeks.
Funny wording though....It calls out the recall on the 97 Formula 583
and not a 97 Formula Z (which I have).  I suspect the recalled sleds are
not all listed on the recall notice form.   It came registered mail.

Clutch recall for Ski-Doo????

I have not seen the recall notice that a customer would get, but the
dealers get a recall bullitin that identifies the 4 digit model number
which  is involved, ie. model  1096 ('96 MXZ 583), 3877 ('94 Mach Z) and
so on. The first four digits of the vin # is the vehicle model number.
The recall bullitins sometimes even give vin # parameters. to narrow down
the search for the affected sleds. If you are concerned just give your
dealer a call, and the can tell you if your sled is a recall victim.
