Hi Folks

Merry xmas

Finally recieved the fixed rate shocks from Black Magic for the KTX
frontend.
Need to adjust the preload/sit-in  I got instructions a couple months
back from another reader but sure nuff murphy moved them from my desk
and I cant find them anywhere.  If memory serves me I adjust for equal
ride height up and down so that at rest the system is in the middle of
travel and then fine tune it on the fly errr the trail to keep her from
bottoming out  etc etc.  Is that it or does someone have a better way?

PS heading for that fluffy white stuff Dec 25

Have a good time riding Jim, let us know how that 700 goes and what you
think of the KTX kit.

Have a good time and ride safe.

Don't you mean  fixed rate springs?   I'm  assuming the 110 pound rates
right?   Got my  carbon fiber one dialed in.   OH wow.       You are gonna
love it. KTXcat

Hi Chris
Yea I ment the fixed rate springs.  They went on in a snap...  I think you are
correct at 110lbs.  (they are the ones suggested on the bottom of the so
called directions.   I gave it a guess and set the spring ring dial to 19
threads from the bottom.  it was stock at 2.  will see from there..  If you
have any guesses to make it easier im all ears

Jim
