Is Roadless Initiative Really Dead?

I found this in the Jeep Newsgroup. How does this impact snowmobiles?

UNITED FOUR WHEEL DRIVE ASSOCIATIONS FORCES U.S.
FOREST SERVICE TO SETTLE OUT OF COURT
http://www.ufwda.org/access2000/legal03.13.00.html

Could it really be just that easy? Maybe we all need to join United Four
Wheel Drive Association, along with NRA and any other right-leaning group we
can find. With so many people leaning so hard to the left, someone's gotta
lean right or we're gonna tip right over.

Charles.

Way to go United Four Wheel Drive Associations and Carla Boucher!  This
is great news.  We really have to support these people.

By the way, Charles: I love the "we're gonna tip right over" image.  Too
true!

I really don't think there are as many people leaning left as there
appear to be.  I think it just looks that way because the media in this
country one big lefty infestation.  They aren't a huge majority (they
may not even be a majority outside of Kalifornia)...they just know how
to make themselves look like one.

That's what makes the whole situation so infurating.

It should follow that ANYBODY reading this newsgroup should feel compelled to
join the "Blue Ribbon Coalition" also.  It has been brought up many times
before, but I would bet that less than 5% of sledders support organizations of
this type.  They are our greatest hope of keeping lands that we use open.  No
arguments, PLEASE just take the time to join.
