I cant agree more more with the people who have already responded to you.
I began looking last year and finally made up my mind this season when I found
a 1990 in the paper for $1000.00. I called the party and found that it sold 2
days before the add was even run.It appears that someone had inside
information in the add department and grabbed it.
I payed $1250.00 for my 96 which seems extremely reasonable considering people
are fighting to get a 1990 for $1000.00. At the risk of sounding like a
Artic-Cat dealer your kids will outgrow this thing and the longer you wait the
less they will get to use it. Also as others have stated you wont have a
problem getting rid of it. Unless your kids total it 10mins after they get it
(like mine did). Seriously they did crash it right away but the parts are very
reasonable. The only reason I didnt replace everything immediately is that I
have a little girl (3 yrs) who will be learning next year.

I have a grandson that I hope to buy a Kitty Cat for some day. (He is
one yr old now). What age do you think it is appropriate for them to ride,
supervised?

Local dealer is sitting on at least 2 new ones. (I think one has been
used a bit around the parking lot as a demo)

Try Sportland 2, Oak Creek WI (800) 559-0055 or (414) 764-2800

Michael

PS - If you drive down to pick one up let me know in advance and maybe we
can arrange a meeting down here.
