Has anyone seen this thing?  It looks awesome.(You can seeit at Race and
Rally'y homepage, www.racerally.com and latest edition of Snow Week)
Its engine in made in the US right in Oceola WI
It has a variable exaust(VES) like (RAVE) and new heads and a variable
possision pipe.
The Xtra 10 looks better than ever!  And the brake is Polarises best yet!
I can't wait till polari makes some for the rest of us!!!

Yeah, I saw one.  It was parked getting fuel at the pump, with a map bag
attached, late at night at a gas station in the Michigan UP.

So much for "racers only."  Sighting verified by Michael Hart, Tom
Avery, and Ron Kellett.

My dealer in Cleveland Ohio has/had one on the showroom floor. Took a
fairly close look at. The oil bottle is really big for a racer. Looked
to be 3.5 qt! Also it is mounted in one or two places on the steering
hoop, it then points out toward the front of the sled. Looks to be
pretty precarious*** out there. Just sitting on the floor, it
moves and inch to either side without much pressure at all. I think
this will be a problem.

Other than that it looked nice and clean, loved the colors up close.
But wouldn't pay the price to go slower :).

I haven't seen the '97 XCR sp, but my father-in-law brought home a '96
XCR sp this weekend to test out.  I finally understand all the fuss
about these 440 limited builds.  We don't have much snow (5" in the
field)--and what we do have is a bit slushy.  Using the ski-pressure
controller on the handlebars, we dialed in the right pressure.  The sled
went where it was pointed and attacked bumps and snowbanks (from the
snowplow) with an "Is that all you got for me??" attitude.  I was
impressed with the motor as well...Quite a bit more power than the
standard XCR 440.  I've ridden all of my friends' sleds--different makes
and sizes--but this was my favorite.

I have mixed feelings on the colors. It's definitely a road construction
orange!!! ahh.. well, yuck. Together the whole color package looks
great, but I'd like a little deeper red base color.

I've watched as the mechanic put it through it's paces... Great sounding
motor. A high pitched motor but definitely sounding like there's some
serious grunt there...
