As some of us are already aware, Jim Herzig, USSA points leader, was killed
during a final at the Grand Prix de Valcourt. "A class act, and a true
gentleman, that will be missed by the racing community" said Joel Hallstrom,
Team Arctic race manager.  Jim was truely a one of a kind racer, a man that
would take time to come and talk to you at a race, a REAL snowmobile racer. A
trust fund will be set up for his children, funeral arrangements are being made
for later this week.  I hope all us racing enthusiests can remember Jim for who
he was, a real winner for the sport.

Casey, if you read this, I hope you can pull yourself beyond, and remember your
father as the best man that could have ever happened to snowmobile racing, your
father is a hero.
