Hey guys, thanks for your comments in the previous thread.

I decided to go with the 500F.  I currently have a '96 Touring SLE 500
(which I am keeping), and my fear is that I will have buyer's regret (or
post-purchase dissonance in marketing language) if I go with the 380.

Now that I'm used to riding the 500, I am afraid that acceleration, power,
and speed of the 380 would disappoint me, and not meet my expectations.

Incidently, the 500 has some decent additions:
- bigger engine
- sway bar in front suspension
- hydraulic brakes
- adjustable backrest
- T.R.A. clutch
- carbides

Plus, I ended up getting a bit more free stuff with the machine, as well as
a discount off the price.

I'll be picking it up on Friday.  Now if only we had some snow here in
Newfoundland.  Last year we were snowmobiling in late November, and finished
up in mid-April - probably because we had the most snow that we've ever had!

How I wish this year could be a repeat of last year!

Happy sledding!
