I think the XC is lighter and slightly more powerful.  You should take a look
at the MXZ
670 HO too.   It looks pretty good to me.

The Cat weighs 499 and has 115 hp and comes only in green. It has a
triple beam headlight 13.5 inches rear travel.

The XC weighs 484 and has 118-124hp (depending on which publication you
beleive) is all black with a white hood (Black hood on XCSP).It has 10
inches of rear travel.

I HAD a all green ZR and that belly pan was absolute *** to clean or
try to keep clean. I sold it and ordered the black belly pan XC.

Both those number are claimed travel numbers.... they don't begin to tell
anything about the skids.

Measure from the cross shafts to the snubbers on the rails (where they will
bottom out) and you'll find comparable numbers. Both "claimed" numbers are
inflated.  Are we to the point of "a couple more than the next biggest
liar"?

Forget most of the other claims about ETS and even coupling.... Ride them
and you'll find the two very different. I prefer one over the other but
that's my opinion. Coupling works and so does ETS but they are far different
from what's portrayed by the hype and media.

Ride 'em!

Probably not enough to make much of a differance, the truth be known.
They should both be sleds that you can really enjoy. Probably the
biggest factor should be which one has the best dealer in the area.
Unless you are a good mechanic, like to do your own work AND have a way
to keep the warranty in effect while doing your own work, a dealer that
treats you well far outweighs any relatively minor differances between
brands.
