Usova & Zhulin

Last night Elvis's special was on.  I watched Usova and Zhulin skate to a blues number.
They were great.  They looked very relaxed (those wonderful edges).  As I watched them,
I thought it is a shame that they are now quitting.  Or have they changed their minds?

At Legends, it was said that they hadn't skated together for eight
months, but decided to get back together.  They were undecided about
staying together as a dance team.  It was made pretty clear that they
aren't on very good terms.

From what I read on one of the ng's, they had pulled out of Elvis Stojko's tour.  They
were quitting, but someone, Elvis or whomever, talked them into doing it.  It
was broadcast on ctv on Sat. They seemed very relaxed, I didn't get the impression that
they "loathed each other" and could hardly wait to get off the ice.  They looked like
they were enjoying themselves.  But I wouldn't be surprised if they didn't skate past
this season.  They might be agreeing to do a one last season thing.  None the less, they
were superb, all those things they do well together were in that show.  Nice bluesy
number, don't know the name, suited them.

They aren't on very good terms since their divorce.  At Legends, they
were skating together again, but uncertain as to how long.
