I, for one, was not assuming that it was Jamie or Justin that was
having problems in the partnership. My feeling has always been that
one or both of them was/were having personal problems unrelated to
skating or their partnership. This was how the pair initially
expressed their situation (via their first press release on the
subject) and why they were not participating in the Grand Prix Series.
In time, I suppose, we will learn more about the reason for the split.
For now, I'll assume it was perfectly mutual.
