I hope not. She is so frustrating because she has such big, beautiful
jumps but her idea of doing choeography to "Aladdin" is to do the
palms-flat-up "walk like an Egyptian" thing with her hands every two
seconds. No sale.

She apparently landed everything including the Lutz combo and the
triple flip. Corwin and Pearl were clean(or pretty darn close) but had
less in technical difficulty.

I don't believe Pearl does have a flip. Even with the jumps she does
not do, it's nice she is getting credit for other elements enough to
put her sufficiently high.

Looks like Nikodinov missed another chance and this one was handed to her on a
silver platter. Corwin still has a shot though!

BTW: Malinina is not still doing that "Aladin" thing is she? I hate that
program!

As TM's Uberfan, I must noisily protest your vilification!  I boo and hiss, and
hurl epithets at whoever your favorite skater might be!  <g>

That said, I don't care for the Aladdin program either...but she's a good
skater and deserves her placement, I am sure.  I still say she was robbed in
the short at Worlds last year...she has established more of a rep this year, I
think, and may be taken more seriously at Worlds in March.  :-)

(I wish I could do that fancy little face with the tongue sticking out, but I
don't know how.  Perhaps some Uberfan Coach could tell me.)
