The USFSA web site finally has the official announcement of S&P's
withdrawal from their Grand Prix events.

"Due to personal and family issues, we have been off the ice since
early August and unable to train for our upcoming competitions this
fall. Unfortunately, we will miss both assigned Grand Prix events,
Skate America and Trophee Lalique. We remain committed as a team and
look forward to competing in the future."

It is my hope they are able to return to the ice soon. Is there anything
that the fans can help with?

ITA, Jim. Until I watched them skate, I never enjoyed wathcing ice dance. When
they skate, I can't take my eyes off  of Jamie (sorry justin!). She has a very
rare talent.

What a nice thing to say. I hope someone is telling them that people are
offering their good wishes. Perhaps _that_ in and of itself will be
helpful.
