Yes.  They won the national championship for the seventh consecutive
year.  They train with Natalia Dubova in Lake Placid.  They have been the
bronze medalists for the past three years at Worlds.

Well, come on.  Sure, the poster could have been more specific about which
of the 3 teams he or she was asking about, but surely the least likely
interpretation is that he or she has never heard of Bourne and Kraatz!
Lefebvre and Brunet, according to the CFSA website, finished 2d the last 4
times out at Canadians, but their best placement at worlds was a 15th in 96
(they were 20th in 97, 19th in 98 (and 19th at the Olympics)).
http://www.cfsa.ca/athletes/04emain.html.  As a US citizen, I can't say I
remembered them as anything other than vaguely familiar names (no more than
Wing & Lowe, in fact, though the latter have never been to worlds), though I
would have guessed they must have been Canada's 2d or 3d team to place this
well.  And Lang and Tchneryshev emerged from the pack to win the US
nationals this year because the teams that had placed ahead of them in the
past are no longer competing, thus explaining why someone might not have
heard of them before this year.  (The placement of these two teams, I guess,
gives us a hint as to how well L&T can expect to do at worlds . . . oh,
well.  Especially as I find them much more enjoyable to watch than I ever
did Punsalan and Swallow, whose skill I recognized, but whom I found too
often extremely lacking in good taste).

It wasn't Roazie who was inquiring--it was Momdarling. I was under the
impression that she was in the States so I wondered how she could've
watched nationals and missed Lang/Tchernyeshev?

Anyway, what happened to your ISP, PosterBoy? It sent about six copies of
your post! Yikes...
