My favorite was Peter talking about I&Z "penetrating the competition."

Yeah.  Too bad Terry found it necessary to jabber about the tourist
attractions in Germany and St. Petersburg during Sarah Hughes'
program, instead of letting us appreciate the skating and music.  I
guess he likes Nat King Cole but not Rachmaninoff.  :-P

Uh-oh, we're going to have to start a Peterisms list now!  :-)

Ah yes, who wants to join me in the weekly chorus of "I love Terry
Gannon"?

And we haven't even begun to think how this applies to ice dance lifts this
season.

I am so glad I know what this music is now...*smacking head* and I have a
copy of it too...just haven't listened for a while, obviously...anyway,
now I know I associate it with deep sadness because it was one of G&G's
last numbers.

To mail me, replace the double vowel at the end of the name with the correct single letter. Sorry to make it so hard, but I'm being spammed to death lately and I'm sick of it.

Count me out.  Talk about pot-kettle-black.  Gannon has a helluva nerve
telling Carruthers to keep quiet when Gannon himself babbles endlessly.
He's the audio equivalent of Michelle Kwan at the beach.  And while I'm
ranting, why can't he take thirty seconds to learn how to pronounce the
skaters' names?  If he can say Sol-DAH-tova rather than Sol-daa-TOE-va, he
should be able to say Boo-TEER-skya, SLOOT-skya and VOLCH-kova.  The rink
announcers pronounce the names correctly; all he has to do is take the hint.

There is something about the term "Peterism" that gives me pause for
concern...

I really laughed when, during Plushenko's program, he asked Peter, "Do
you like his choreography?"  Obviously Terry didn't care for it....

Plushy is my favorite eligible male skater these days (there, I said it), and
as much as I liked his program, I would not go so far as to accuse it of
actually having anything resembling "choreography."

We'll keep Terry Gannon <g>.

Well if one was invented, if the word rotation was part of it we'll all be
drunk within the first 5 minutes of the broadcast, that is we would have to
drink every time he said the word rotation therefore being inebriated, which
leads me to another Peterism. Did you ever notice how he has to say the same
thing twice using differnent phrasing, that is he repeats what he just said
preceded by the words that is.

One more thing, Terry finally said it last night. Sarah Hughes does control her
own destiny in the long.

Maybe she does control her own destiny in figure skating, but what about in her
geometry class?  ;-)

I'd like to nominate the phrase "within his/her/their skating" as the first
two-drink phrase.
