Boss Bearing grease?

Boss Bearing grease?

I'd appreciate it if anyone could offer some advise on a fast, relatively
long lasting bearing grease?.  I'd like something that's fast, breaks in
quickly,  keeps the grit out pretty well, and lasts a while.  I've tried the
Boss hockey gel, and the High performance gel, and they don't last too long
or keep the grit out very well.  The original grease that comes in the Boss
ABEC 5's is excellent.  Does anyone know where I can get that or something
similar?  It's is sort of whitish, almost transparent, very lite grease.

If the lube that's used in the Boss ABEC 5's is the same as is used in
the Boss Swiss bearings, and the latter does fit your description, the
stuff is called "High Performance Gel with Ultra 800."  I don't know
if this is the same as the High performance gel to which you referred.
If it is then it's clearly not what you're looking for since you
didn't like it.  I've had excellent luck with the stuff but of late
have been using Boss oil.  This requires frequent maintenance though.

I like the gel so far, but it's not the same stuff as the grease which
comes in the BOSS 5s.  The stuff that comes in the bearing is slightly
thicker and less transparent.  My guess would be ordinary white lithium grease,
which you can get in any auto-parts store.
