Need advice in buying a paintball gun

Post by Martin Garz » Sat, 28 Feb 1998 04:00:00

I looking to pay between $1600 to $1000 on a kick ass setup.
I've been looking at Angels and a Bad Boys Toyz Stage3 Autococker.
Which setup is better? and should I go N2 or CO2 ( I know angels run on
compressed air).  Which reg setup should I go with (Raptor or Apocalypse)?

I have played paintball at Challenge Park and Badlandz. I got instantly
***ed to the game, the style I like to play is one shot-one kill.  I
don't see the need to waste a case of paint on a couple of guys.

I looking to buy my gun within the next couple of days.

Thanks,

Martin Garza

I am under the impression that this is your first gun.  I would get a***er
if you are determined to spend a lot of money.  Just a 97 autococker.
Because you live near chicago, you could easily take it to BBT for any work
you need.  also, if you never play again you are not out of so much money

Also, I have heard REALLY good things about the PMS 4500 psi Nitrogen
systems,
and the Apocalypse is pretty pricy. I also heard for a "1 shot 1 kill"
game, the
new Shocker Sport is VERY accurate. This is just what I heard, though.

Yeah, the SS 4500 looks awesome.  It is already double regulated so, I imagine
that it is stable.

Go with a Sniper instead of an Autococker then, it's a pump.  A lot of
mods on 'Cocker's are made to help you get as much paint in the air as
possible.

You may want to check out Smart Parts new gun, the Shocker 4X4.  It is a
REALLY nice gun, and if you get the S\F (select fire ) model, you can have
semi, 3 shot burst, and F\A.  Check it out at www.smartparts.com
