I want you to notice that this is the 68 not the SMG-60, this gun fires 68
cal. paint.

I have an SMG-68 by tippmann for sale.  It rattles ammo from 5 round
*** clips.  You load 3 at a time and just keep jamming them in as you
spit them out.  I have many clips to travel along.  The guns max. firing
speed is near 15-20 shots per second.  I want an autococker, stock in good
condition will do, mods are a nice bonus.  If not a***er then I would
like offerings beginning at $250 BARE MINIMUM.  I have a 16" barrel to go
along with the 10" stock one.  This gun likes liquid, so if you don't have
one I suggest buying/making a siphon tank.  By making I mean having someone
install a siphon tube (cost should be about $5).  This gun is a collectors
item.  The reason I am selling is that I just don't have the ammo to feed
it.  This gun kicks like a mule as far as paintball is considered.  It also
has a very LOUD signature so you can get people running just by holdint the
clips in place and cycling gas.  I love the effect when men turn and run
for cover to regroup.

for a pic goto my webpage at www.netusa1.net/~newdles/kenpage1.html  from
there you will see a link to my paintball page.  Its not a good picture but
you can see how the gun resembles a 68 special with a clip bar on the left
side.

Just out of curiosity, but I think I remember that SMG 68 didn't come fully auto
stock, that you have to add an SMG 60 sear.  Is this correct?

It was just a scaled up version of the 60.  It was originally a
full-auto.  I have an SMG-60 and it does kick as bad as the Sten it
vaguely resembles.  It does sound rather impressive; although I never
could hit anything with it it always scared the ***out of other
players the first time they heard it.

Actually Thomas The SMG was auto to start with orginally
he got one of the two mods available for it, permitting
to used more current paint caliber (being 68 instead of the 60)
size, now there was also another Mod for the SMG60 that
made it into a 68-special, this one, makes it
semi-auto with regular top feeder ( I have one of those )
.
my 2 cents worth.

Officially, the SMG68 was semi-only, while the SMG60 was availible
in semi-only, select-fire, or full-auto-only (the usuall variety).
However, Tippman did make select-fire and full-auto SMG68s as
special orders (plus, many people converted them with SMG60 sears).
Even semi SMG68's are extremely rare.  They came out shortly before
the 'gravity-fed semi-auto revolution', so few were sold, and nearly
all were converted to 68 specials (like mine, and I have regretted it
 since).

Because I wanted an semi auto, because the clips
where a pain in the ***to reload between games
and lost too many, a nice semi with hopper was
my choice *shrug* beside I like my 68-S I still
use it from time to time for inside play with
groups of newbies, scares them less than my modded
spider with my red dot shooter on it. :))

Loud. creates snow in mid-summer, and scares anyone
I know with it signature *BANG-Shing!* sound.
