Scoring Procedure

Although I have been playing paintball for a few years now, I have little
experience playing on regulated fields (most of my time is spent playing with
a group of buddies on a friends farm) and no tournament experience
whatsoever.  Last weekend after we finished playing (damn it was cold, 0C or
32F) we were sitting around a fire talking about the games we had just
played.  Someone asked about the scoring procedures used in tournaments but
none of us knew them.  So the question is, how are tournaments scored (5
and 10 man)?  A run down of the values for eliminations/flag pulls/hanging
would be very much appreciated.

It differs from tourney to tourney, depending on who is putting it on.  In the
NPPL at Reno, the five man amature (center flag games) went like this:
First Flag pull: 10 points
Flag hang:       50 points
Eliminations:    40 points (8 points per player)
Total:           100 points

At my home field, we ran a three man where we wanted fast games, our point
system went like this:
First Flag pull: 10 points
Flag Hang:        5 point
Elimination:      3 points (1 point per eliminated opponent)
Live Players:     3 points (1 point per legal player after game ended)
Total:            21 points
