Paintball with Airsoft..?

Being able to purchase 6mm paintballs for airsoft guns, and they only
operate at 250-300fps, do you think these would be "legal" at
paintball fields?

There are some really nice replicas out there, like the MP5 etc...

It depends on the field; you just have to call them and ask.

We have been able to use them at all of the fields where I live.  They
can be quite effective, too.

The only problem is getting people to call themselves out.  If you have
an honest group it works fine.  Otherwise, just keep on the trigger 'till
they can't ignore the bb's bouncing off them!

Some of the fields here in Hawaii have repeatedly said that they would
have no problem with allowing airsoft guns. As long as they clock in
under the 300fps mark. From a PR standpoint, I doubt there would be many
other field owners who would be so open minded about having replica guns
seen on their field.

Umm...who is your supplier that provides enough 6mm paintballs for
you to fire "'til they can't ignore the bb's bouncing off them!"?

It took me 2 weeks of searching Seoul downtown before I found 20
of them at an absurd price.

We don't use the 6mm paintballs.  They break too much and paint inside an
airsoft can be disastrous!

We use the bio-degradable bb's which don't break at all and that's where the
honor part comes in.

Check out http://www.best.com/~vxl/airsoft/ there's links to many suppliers.
We get ours from CQB.

Nah,

That doesn't call for a flame, just an explanation.  I have run off track of
the 6mm paintball subject and am talking about bb's.  The bb's don't break so
anything that hits, or bounces, counts as an elimination.

Paintball?  Technically, no.  It's airsoft and a helluva lot of fun, too!

Sorry for the confusion.

Over here it is 11.99 for 250 of the 6mm paintballs.

Excellent, I just hope they are as liberal here in the uk... my friend
is buying one too, so even if they don't let us in with them, we can
still have some fun here.  I live in the country, so there is a lot of
forestry and fields nearby.

The MP5-SD3 looked *very* realistic... some of the american designs
use batteries and run on full auto, with a 42 round magazine.  Wow...

Ah, using the actual 0.2g plastic ammo...  maybe a little bit more
difficult to count in hits, as if you are running rather fast, you may
not feel it, where as if you have a paintmark to back it up.. maybe
you should consider purchasing some of the 6mm pballs.

I can imagine, especially with the full auto guns.... (ouch) ;p
