Make sure you pick up the premiere issue so you can read my article on
ProCaps and Diablo paint.

How does or how will  this new "magazine" differ from APG?

They did have that great article on how to do a paint check.  I'm sure many
people that have played for years are happy now that they  know how to do it.

Well, I will also say to let me know what you think of my article in the
premier issue. It is a dark, editorial look at some things going on on the
sport. The piece was passed over by another magazine, so I applaud Bill's guts
for publishing it.

How did you guys hear about the NEW APG magazine, early enough to submit
articles?  I only learned of it from the Jan 99 issue of APG.

Butcha know what!  I remember that very same article, written by a very
different person, back in 1988!  In ten years field owners and veteran
players have not successfully ingrained into the newbies heads that it is
not the function of the paintcheck to get a time-out to stuff an empty pod
or hay or wood chips into that crack in the bunker that other guy is trying
to shoot you thru!

They also printed an article on wiping and why it's a bad thing!

I never realized that we had to have a magazine tell us that it is wrong to
cheat!

Basically, its called 'being plugged in'.

I talk to most of these folks on at least a weekly basis;  the Mills, the
Bouchers at Paintball News, Steve Duffy or Pete Robinson at PGI; occassional
chats with the other publications, and talks, on a regular basis with the
'top names' in the industry.
