As far as benifits...Price vs features are awesome. Compared to the Bushie at
$550+ or more to the Intimidater at $800+ it still is an awesome gun. it comes
with turbo automatically as apposed to 75-125 from timber or bob(can't remember
exact price), Anti chop eye is 125 by itself or 225 for both from
timber[note...Timberwolf, why do you charge an extra dollar to get both($99 for
chaos+$125 for eye=224). Just wondering:)]anyway...thats $775 just for those
two features(turbo and eye). ICD just came out with their LCD for the bushie,
however from what I have heard you can't use the chaos chip nor bob's chip and
their respective eyes with it. If anyone else has heard please correct me on
this one. However thats going to run you another $150+ Thats $925+ for those
Please note those prices are from what I remember. Please correct me if I am
wrong and make sure you research and look around for the best price/service.
Anyway, as far as the Shocker, I really can't say too much bad about it. Its
quite, accurate, and fairly fast. Again comparing price and features I would
still go with the Intimidator if you are going to get a S/F or turbo version of
As far as the Angel, I currently won't get an angel. Its a status symbol and
I could have gotten one instead of my Defiant. However I think they are
becoming really boringly common. If I was going to drop $1000+ on a marker I
would want it to be rare. At the field I play at at least 6 have an Angel, 3
of them are custom angel series. I have only 1 of 2 Defiants. 1 other person
owns a Bushie. This isn't to say if it cost the same I wouldn't have gotten an
Angel. I would love to own the status symbol of a high end marker, but as it
stands I would get an intimidator first. See the bushie/intimidator
comparison. Price vs. features the Intimidator blows everything else away.
Only department it falls short on is the reliance factor and that is simply
because it hasn't had time to prove one way or another.
They are common because they are the best you can get. Everyone seems to be
Also anyone that was at the 24rh scenerioat Mountain paintball can attest to
how much paint an intim can laydown. Kyle now has his signature series bunker
it has about 3 coats of flaming pink paint, very stylish

The balance, feel, and quality are why people get the angel. The angel clones
don't have that. The clones also don't have as good of a trigger. The angel
is also very easy to aim with.
<< but a lot of the newber players seem to be buying them as their first or
second gun for the status symbol and they appear to think that it lets them
If you have an angel and suck, it doesn't give you status. You look worse,
because you have 0 excuses. Most people judge others based on there skill.
<<"I have a Defiant that will shoot just as fast, and it costs 300+ less then
yours, Ha ha". >>
It is just the same as people with spyders who say why did you get that***er,
mag, whatever. My gun shoots as fast as I pull the trigger and is just as good
for a 1/3 the money. Hell, the field owner where I play claims his daughters
e-spyder is better then an angel.
Someone with an e-spyder will wonder why you got the defiant, when he got his
gun for $300 less then you. The defiant is a better value then the angel, and
the e-spyder is a better value then the defiant. Some of us are looking for
the best not the best value. I dropped $2800(4 barrels, intellifeed with
hopper, every anodizied to match in thunderstruck) for my Cobra LCD then the
Armaggdon(also anodized) was another $450+. I have zero regrets.
I got a tribal that I perfer to the defiant, and I do regret that. I like the
Cobra LCD so much more that I will never again use the tribal. Plus I'm
getting a featherweight adrenalin as my backup gun. Or a second Cobra LCD with
a much cheaper anodizing.
It is the same as people with the preset***in HP system that beleive they
are as good as something like the Armaggdon.
The "angel clones" as you put them aren't really clones. They offer
_some_ of the same features for less money. They do not offer _all_ of
the same features. The only gun that comes close to offering all of
the features at the same price as the Angel is the Excalibur.
Any gun that costs $1200+ better have "balance, feel, and quality".
I have noticed that over the last 2 years or so, Angels have
drastically increased in popularity. It used to be a rare day when an
Angel would grace the field with it's presence. Now there are a half a
dozen Angels on the field every time I go and play.
Angels are the best stock guns you can buy. But take another cheaper
gun, and put the difference in price into custom tuning and cosmetics,
and in my opinion, you have an equal gun.
I think I am going to buy a custom BM2K instead of an Angel, because I
feel I will get just as good of a gun, and it will be an incredibly
