Game Scoring for League-style play

I'm in the beginning of organization of a local league here, and would
like any information yall can give me on the scoring of games in
tournament play.  (Like X points for a kill,*** the flag,
penalties,
etc...)  I'd like to use a system a little more detailed than
"The SO-n-Sos have won 3 games, lost 4.."  etc....

Thanks for the info!

        The system we usually use is:
                10 pts for a kill
                20 pts for grab (getting the flag)
                30 pts for a hang

        It seems to work well, and handicapping uneven teams is easy too.
Say you have 6 on 7, give the team with 6 people 10 pts to start.  Things
usually come out fairly evenly.  Enjoy...

I would have E-Mailed this, but the "Virtual Storage Capacity Exceeded"
I don't know, this is why I pay $5000 tuition!! Anyways, I would highly
suggest buying the new Lively Tournament Rules Book. It costs around $4,
and has every single rule, you'll need. If only I had read that before our last
 Tournament we would have won... Here's a breakdown of standard scoring
for a Tournament.
3-man     First Grab=20pts.
          Hang      =50pts.
Securement=30pts.
          Eliminations= 11 pts. each(max 103, only reciuevs 100)

5-man     First Grab=20 pts
Hang      =50 pts.
Securement=30 pts.
Eliminations= 6pts. each

10-man    First Grab= 20 pts.
          Hang      = 50 pts.
          Securement=30 pts.
          Eliminations= 3 pts. each
Securement is having possesion when the time expires. These scores are
for center flag format, but will work just as well for two flag games.
If there's anything else I can help with, just E-Mail, or post it.

Here's the scoring system set up by the Texas Council of Captains for
10-man tournament play:

First Flag securement (off rope)                                20 points
Flag Capture (return of opposing flag)                          80
Active flag (flag in play at end of game)                       15
Eliminated opposing player                                       5
Unmarked player (Alive at end of game)                           0

Total possible points for one game = 150

PENALTY POINTS:
Eliminated and contuing play                                    -50 points
Marked and talking, signalling, or passing equipment            -50
Arguing with judge after receiving a warning                    -20
Abusive language toward a judge or player                       -20
Unsportsmanlike use of a paintgun (overshooting)                -20
Player failing to check in at end of game                       -20
Player not honoring paint check, truce, freeze                  -20
Eliminated and not leaving field after warning                  -20
Failure to leave the field in a timely manner                   -10
Player removing goggles on playing field                        -75
Gun shooting over limit coming off field                -3/fps over 300
   (3 shot average, each fps over 300 is -3 points)
Eliminated and passing flag                             game forfeited
Abuse of the word "Truce"                             game forfeited
Use of non-tournament paint (when applicable)           game forfeited
Fighting                                                6-month suspension

Once a team reaches 75 penalty points, each point after that is DOUBLED
for the rest of the tournament.

In a game forfeiture, the opponent receives maximum points.

Well, I hope that's good enough for you. If you'd like, I can send you a
copy of the full TCC rulebook (just pay me for copying and sending it).

Mail me if you need anything else.
