Information on Pump Guns

Post by Hajkows » Sun, 13 Feb 2000 04:00:00

I'm looking for some information on two pump guns.

The first if for a friend of mine who owns a marker called the "Apex Elite".
He said that they were one of the best markers of their day, but they have not
been produced in a long time.  He doesn't have any of the old paperwork on the
gun, so he's looking for any information he can find.  If you know about or own
one of these, he could really use your help.

The other pump I wanted to ask about was the Diablo.  I was thinking of getting
one.  It looks rather like a Trracer clone and I was wondering how if performs
(relative to the Trracer or similar pump).  Anyone use one?

Any information would be greatly appreciated.  Thanks in advance.  If at all
possible, please send a copy of your response to my e-mail.

He's right on both counts.  The Apex was a fine production pumper, very
accurate.  I had the pleasure of playing with one once.  It hooked paint
to the left, but it hooked it so consistently that with compensation I
could get paint to swing around trees.

Getting internals is next to impossible, except from specialty places.
I recomend I&I sports, because they still have some Apex Elite's in the
box.  They may have parts kits

The diablo is a pump gun that has no relations to "Diablo Paintball",
it's marketed by National, and it's a nelson based pump gun.

You get what you pay for.
