well, in my opinion, the raptor is better(my view's)

remeber ive owned one , and liked it , i just had to move on to an
autococker..(actualy a piranha then a***er)

spyder's are way over rated,

i think a raptor is better because

#1. more solidly built

#2. better gas effiency

#3. mine never broke down on me...(i may be lucky)

#4. look's better

#5. relitivly quiet (compred to a spyder)

but for the money , i would by a piranha over both of them.....

I'd go for the Piranha. Its rear***ing which keeps dirt out, and has neat
quick strip bolt so you can easily take it appart in seconds ,as  compared to a
Raptor or Spyder that take a couple minutes. I don't like the raptors to much,
beucase, well, they're cheasy. A vulcan can take about as much abuse. My
twisted the vertical adapter 1/4 turn the wrong way, and it broke. Brass Eagle
said we'd have to buy the whole reciever, which was $115, almoost as much as
the gun! Spyders are pretty good, my sister has a Spyder2l, its fairly decent,
just loud and not very accurate. We've never had any problems with it really,
except for when she 1st got it, the cup seal was backwards and dented and we
couldn't figure the POS out (the maunal sucked... I've seen more impressive
worl from 5 year olds) Go for the Piranha. Its around the same price, and if
you can, spend the extra couple bucks and get the Piranha STS (bigger barrel,
Gas-through grip, new bolt, some other neat ad on''s) you'll thank me later =)

Yes. It is supposed to be 18. Though unfortunately some don't enforce
that.
