I've heard several complaints about Nitroduck's customer service... I
was considering buying one of their tanks... can some of you relate
your bad experiences to me and give me good reason not to buy from
Nitroduck?

thx,

Will

while i know a number of people have had problems with thwm,
i have had no complaints. I ma using two of their microregs,
one bought last year, and one that was part of a lot of 10
that a locla field used before it closed. the new one had a
leak in the fill *** that was solved ina bout 5 minutes
by changing the seal. the old reg is on an old pmi crossfire
tank (one of the orginols) when i threw away the crossfire
reg. before i got it, it had seen over a year of brutal
abuse at the hands of renters, and has served me well for a
coupel of years now. both hold pressure with no problem,
have good flow rate and haven't failed me yet. considerign
the hostility of soem people, i will probably be flamed for
this.

I've heard complaints about their customer service.  I've owned 5 Nitroduck
Microregs and haven't had a single problems with them.  So basically I have
no idea what their customer service is like.

(Humour Intended)

If they're so good, why have you owned 5 of them, what was wrong with the first
one or two... :-)

Nitroduck?

Post by Robert & Linda Mooberr » Thu, 01 Feb 2001 06:32:43

I like to try new equipment as they come up with it.  The first tank was an
old 1st gen microreg.  I sold it when I bought 2 of their Carbon Fiber
Series Microregs.  Then I had to have a 90ci 4.5k Tuff Skin LT Microreg.
After that I decided I liked the steel 68ci tanks.  So, I sold the 2 Carbon
Fiber Microregs and bought a PMI and an ACI 68ci steel microreg tank.
Recently I decided to sell my Shocker and the 90ci tank so I bought a 68ci
4.5k Microreg to replace the 90ci tank.

I have 4 Nitro systems because I have 4 semiauto markers.  My wife plays and
I take friends out to play.  CO2 is not much cheaper to use when you factor
in buying and installing a good expansion chamber and the O-rings you have
to replace when they get froze by the CO2.  So, I have several inexpensive
HPA systems.

$40 for a CO2 tank plus $60 for a good expansion chamber  vs $113 for an ACI
stubby 68ci HPA tank.
