1.  What do you like best, and why?

2.  Have you played Hyperball?
2a. Was it fun? did you like it? Why?

3.  Have you played Arenaball?
3a. Was it fun? did you like it? Why?

Any other comment about the 4 basic games are welcome.

I like to play 'paintball'.  Indoor, outdoor, arena, 'hyper', 'speed', you
name it.  I'll play it.

Not yet, but I look forward to the opportunity.  Will there be a venue in
Ocala?  :)

"Arenaball" can be broken dwon into it's forms.  Several 'indoor' fields
are arena like (CCP in Chicago, for example...).  And there's an outdoor
that built an 'arena' field ("Hangar 18" in Kasson, MN.)  So 'arena' is
loose.  I'd like to put a better definition.

"Arenaball" is paintball played on a large, relatively flat open surface.
All cover is artificially placed (IE Barrels, bunkers, planks, and so
on.)  It's wide enough for a player to run from barrier to barrier, but
small enough for an audience to see most of the action without using
'risers' or 'grandstands'.  Smaller versions of these fields can be called
'Speedball'.  Camouflage is unnessary for 'arenaball', as it is useless.

Ok, that being said, I like "Arena" paintball.  A trained eye can see how
it works, and it's just darned fun to play.  Also, it's less work involved
at finding the other team.  I like that.  :)

Oh wow...  umm...  Just play.  enjoy the game.  That's the key.

What's the difference between hyperball and arenaball?  I thought they
were different names for the same thing.  Just was hoping someone could
shed some light on this for me.

Basically, in Hyperball you have barricades made out of this "grooved" plastic
tubing that comes in many sizes. PGI a few issues back had nice photos.

The "gimmick" is that unlike regular plywood arena barricades, these tubes
have the third dimension, so you can lean over them or even crawl inside
them. They can be comfortably set up as much larger than conventional
barricades, giving crawlers low cover runners don't have to stumble over etc.

In essence, it's move from man-made bunkers to man-made terrain.

I think "Hyperball" is a brand name (like "GOT cha"?)  But I'm not sure.
Anyone?
