Planing to buy an Eclipse Bm2k, but I dont really know much about the gun.
I have read Ravis review of the stock gun , and according to him it seem to
be ok. But what do you think.
Anyone who can help me out ???

Don't know.  I ordered my BM2K and all the goodies this morning.  So I'm
hoping that they are all that Ravi and others say they are.

Angel and BM2K are open bolt. Shocker is closed bolt. Angel needs nitro.
Shocker runs great on CO2, especially CO2 on remote. Shocker is a gas hog.
BM2K is sort of loud. BM2K has a great price. BM2K is somewhat ugly, the
eclipse looks pretty good tho. Angel LCD has an LCD display which is very
convenient. ummmm, none of this is biased....

BM2K Vs Angel Lcd/ Shocker

I love my shocker, I didn't really like my bm2k(that's why I got rid of
it),AND as much as I love my shocker, I have to say, if the lcd angel is
within your financial grasp, get it.The eclipse bm is just a 500$ bm with
some anodizing and milling work.(as far as I know anyway,I could be
wrong)The shocker is heavier(you get used to it REAL fast)(I don't even
notice it anymore)and a bit big, but really accurate and pretty damn
quiet. The Bm is real light, but allot of people(including me)think it feels
a bit like a toy.The Angel?Do I even need to say anything? Its an Angel. All
3 guns have their own ups and downs, but I would go with the shocker or
angel(But Only if you get the dbl trigger and p/f with air assist on the
shocker.)Oh and despite what the shocker bashers say,I have yet to find a
field that made me turn the turbo off.But you can pull the trigger that fast
anyway on the shocker and the Angel.

Yeah, I'd get away from that Eclipse trash.  I mean, yeah, it looks
sweet as hell, but you could have a stock bushy custom milled and ano'd
for less than that, and that's about all it is.  Just milling and
ano'ing.  It's *way* not worth it.
I do love my Defiant, tho.  It's still just a milled and ano'd bushy,
but it's not *nearly* as much as an Eclipse.  You pay about 150 or so
more, which is a bit less than milling and ano'ing.
Bushy's kick, by the way.  I've shot an Angel, yeah, they're AWESOME...
But not as much better than bushy's as all the Angel owners will tell
you.  I'd definitely not pay twice as much for a marker that has a
*very* small advantage over the Bushy.

No offense, but it's probably in your best interest to do some research about a
gun before you sink um...$1,000 or so into it.

I like the B2K a lot, but i think the Eclipse one is overpriced, just like the
Eclipse Shocker. If cosmetics are that much of a concern to you(that's just
about all you get with it extra), then go for it. Or check out a Defiant.

I think looks are a good reason to spend extra money.  I shot the eclipse BM
and thought the trigger was much better then the normal one.  Same with the
shocker.

Matt,

Save your money, don't wate it on an Eclipse BM2k piece of junk.  The gun is
a stock BM which you can buy for $518 bucks at bbtpaintball.com.  It's been
tuned and worked on a little but and has radical cosmetics, but it's still
stock for the most part!

Take the $582 bucks you save buying a stock BM and get these upgrades:
1) CIP Sweet Spot Trigger
2) CIP High Riser
3) CIP High FLow valve with a KAPP max performance pin
4) Dye SS 12" barrel
5) CIP 'Rock' Knob LPR adjuster
6) Bob Long's Turbo Board and Anti-Chop eye ($250)

That'll run you guessing about 400.  Then take the 182 bucks you have left
and get your own anodizing and milling done.  Or even if you don't go for
the cosmetics, just adding these parts to your gun wil lmake it WAY better
than an Eclipse BM.

Problem with the Eclipse is that they rushed the gun to the market to have
their name on it.  Problem is because they rushed it, it's not any better
than a Defiant and has none of the new after market parts on it.  The guns
are stock.  In my opinion there isn't an after market BM (Eclipse or
Defiant) worth the extra money.  Buy a stock one and take the extra money
you would waste otherwise and upgrade it.  You'll have a better gun for the
money in the end!

Just like the Eclipse Shocker with the piston that does nothing. They can't
justify raping you on cosmetics alone, so they do a bit of fine tuning. But
hey, to each his own.
