I have a neighbor who is selling his Concept II model V. Any idea what the
going price is? I might need to buy it if the price is right.

Don't know about the model V (didn't know suck a thing existed), but
Informal surveys/rsr posts indicate:
Model B: Range $200-550, average about $425-450.
Model C: Range $500-650, average about $550.
The really great deals I've heard of generally are either pure
luck or involve some work. For example, a friend found a health
club with two dead model B's. Turns out they just had broken
wires for the monitor - a ten dollar fix. He fixed them, cleaned
them up, and resold one of them for more then he paid for both!

Yep it was a Model C -- don't know where he got the V from. Anyway - at
the suggestion of someone on the newsgroup I emailed Concept II and
discovered that the new Model C's are going for $725 (+$36 shipping to
Seattle). I ordered one today. The exercise shops around here are selling
the Model C's for $1100???? Amazing. They must be buying them at list and
marking them up big time. Anyway - a new one is on the way. ps. also
discovered that Concept II has extended the warranty for a full 5 years AND
the warranty is transferrable.
