YES!!!  Thank you!  Coxes rowing, and rowers coxing WORKS!  
Well... most of the time... we tried it with one of our scrawny
coxes and he came close to giving himself a concussion when he
crabbed and forgot to duck, broke his glasses and put a good
sized dent into his head.  Can't blame him, we never really let
him get used to rowing before going full pressure peices, but
still.  I went the other way, I'm a rower and I learned how to
cox, it was a great experience, I gained a LOT of respect for
coxes in the procces, and learned how to make their job a lot
easier (don't whine about steering or commands).  But, enough
said, learning the other job is useful and WILL help your rowing
and your teamwork!

        I have to agree.  I have coxed for 6 years and never really got
to row.  This summer i started to scull and love it.  I hope that my
coxing will become better because of my rowing.  You definitely
appreciate what the rows or the coxen is doing for you once you have
sat in their seat.
